Kindtime is a mentorship marketplace. People called Heroes sell 1:1 video sessions: career advice, portfolio reviews, and honest conversations. The session price, less card processing, is donated to the verified charity that Hero endorses. A small Kindtime service fee is added at checkout.

What we sell

Kindtime sells scheduled 1:1 video mentorship sessions, typically 30–60 minutes, priced by each Hero (most sessions are $50–$500). You pay online at the time of booking: the session price plus a 5% Kindtime service fee, processed securely by Stripe. After the session takes place, the session price, less Stripe's processing fee, is transferred to the Hero's endorsed charity: a registered 501(c)(3) or local equivalent, verified by us before it can be endorsed.

Find a Hero

Browse people whose work you admire. Each profile shows the Hero's rate, availability, and the verified charity they endorse.

Book and pay

Pick an open slot and pay upfront by card. We hold the funds, send a calendar invite, and provide the video call link.

Meet. We donate.

You meet for your session. Only after it happens does the money move. Everything after fees goes to the Hero's endorsed charity.

Where the money goes: almost all of it, to charity.

Heroes give their time pro bono and take nothing. At checkout, a 5% Kindtime service fee is added to the session price; that's what keeps the platform running. The session price itself, less Stripe's card processing fee, goes to the charity. Funds are held until the session is completed, then transferred weekly.

The fine print

Clear terms, no asterisk.

Cancellations & refunds

Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your session. If a Hero cancels, you're offered a reschedule first, or a full refund to your original payment method. Nothing is donated until the session actually happens.

Verified charities only

Before a charity can be endorsed we confirm its registered charitable status (501(c)(3) in the US or local equivalent) and a payout account in the charity's name.

Payments & receipts

All payments are processed by Stripe; we never store card details. The service fee is shown before you pay. In the US the donated portion is tax-deductible; the charity issues your 501(c)(3) receipt directly, the morning after your session.

Questions or disputes

Write to hello@kindtime.com and a person replies within one business day. Billing issues are resolved before any funds move to charity.
